The Digital Technology career field serves as a critical advisor to Army senior leaders, providing strategic-level talent ​management, professional development, talent acquisition, career planning, employment, and workforce sustainment for the ​Army’s Civilian digital workforce. Their role is to enhance digital technology cyber readiness and modernization and improve ​talent acquisition, development, employment, and retention. They collaborate with industry, academia, other services, and ​federal agencies to support DoD and Army priorities, including the Defense Cyber Workforce Framework and the Army ​Unified Network Plan.
